This dudette from ancient Egypt is enjoying the fragrance of a white lotus flower such as those that abound in the Nile River. To this day, the white Egyptian lotus (Nymphaea lotus) enjoys the status of Egypt’s national flower.
Unlike most of my digitally colored pieces, I drew the line art for this with pencil in my sketchbook, intending for it to be little more than another sketchbook doodle. However, I thought it would look better with color than just pencil shading and so colored it on the computer.
