Another artistic “style experiment” with Itaweret, the heroine of my novel Priestess of the Lost Colony. I wanted to see how she would look if she were a character in the old Dreamworks movie The Prince of Egypt, drawing particular influence from its portrayal of the Egyptian queen Tuya. If any hand-drawn style would suit a future animated adaptation of my novel, I think it would be the old Dreamworks style.
