This is my modeling-clay sculpture of an Olmec head from pre-Columbian Mesoamerica. I don’t actually know if the Olmecs ever actually painted those huge head sculptures for which their culture is famous, but I thought my silly little model would look better with lifelike colors instead of just plain stone gray.
