Purussaurus Scavenging Megalodon

Eight million years ago during the Miocene Epoch, the giant caiman Purussaurus brasiliensis helps itself to a beached Otodus megalodon on the South American coast. A relative of the modern black and Yacare caimans, Purussaurus would have been among the largest crocodilians known from the fossil record, with a body length exceeding thirty feet and a mass over six tons. However, you can see that the infamous shark O. megalodon, which could reach a length nearing sixty feet, dwarfs the caiman by a considerable margin.
