The Temptation of Adam and Eve

This is my artistic interpretation of the temptation of Adam and Eve in Biblical mythology. I referenced both the poses and composition from a classic 16th century painting by the Venetian artist Titian, but I wanted Adam and Eve to look more like how the earliest human beings would have actually looked when our species evolved in Africa around 300,000 years ago. The fruit they are about to eat is from an African marula tree, and the serpent lurking in the branches is an African rock python.
