This is my representation of how our vision of Tyrannosaurus rex, that most iconic of dinosaurs, has evolved over the century or so that we have known about it. The upright posture of the earlier depictions do give the animal a regal air, in all honesty, but I have to say I love how much more colorful, stealthy, and agile today’s tyrannosaurs appear by contrast.
