Interrogation

After a valiant struggle, our Central African heroine has found herself a prisoner of the French Foreign Legion. Their ruthless captain is all too eager to interrogate her with his saber in hand…

The idea for this came from having seen one too many images of White women being held captive by hostile locals in jungle settings. What I wanted to do was reverse this trope by having European colonizers be the ones holding an indigenous African woman in captivity. This time, I chose the French as my antagonists as I felt the French, despite being every bit as rapacious the colonizers as any other European power, don’t get called out on it as often as, say, the British or Spanish. Also, there was some inspiration from an episode of Disney’s “The Legend of Tarzan” series in which Tarzan fights some soldiers from the Foreign Legion.

Don’t worry, our heroine will figure out a way to get herself out of her predicament and give those Frenchmen a much-deserved whooping!
